PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AGREEMENT
All passengers are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
*All rights pertaining to this ticket belong to the Ferry Company from which you purchased it. By purchasing this ticket, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Hereinafter referred to as the ‘SELLER’.
ARTICLE 1.2- BUYER:
The person who purchases the passenger transport ticket from the website ‘https://www.marmarisferry.com’, whose name appears on the ticket in accordance with the information entered on this website, and to whom the passenger transport service will be provided. Hereinafter referred to as the ‘Buyer’.
If the credit card holder and the person receiving the service are different individuals, both the person who owns the credit card used to pay for the ticket and the person receiving the service are considered buyers under this agreement. Both individuals hereby declare and undertake to fulfil the rights and obligations arising from this agreement.
The buyer declares and undertakes that the information provided is accurate, that they will comply with all the rules specified in this contract during the provision of the service, and that they will fulfil all the obligations of this contract.
ARTICLE 2 - WEBSITE:
The address of the website where the Seller sells ‘passenger transport tickets’ under the terms of this agreement is ‘https://www.marmarisferry.com’.
All tickets reported to be sold by the Seller outside of this website are invalid.
‘https://www.marmarisferry.com’ shall hereinafter be referred to as the ‘website’ in this agreement.
ARTICLE 3- SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT
The subject of this agreement is to determine the procedures and principles related to the sale of passenger and vehicle transport tickets by the SELLER to the BUYER electronically via the https://www.marmarisferry.com website and the passenger transport service provided to the BUYER. In this regard, reference has been made to the provisions of Law No. 4077 on the Protection of Consumers (‘Law’) and the Regulation on Distance Contracts dated 27 November 2014 (‘Regulation’).
ARTICLE 4 - INFORMATION ABOUT THE GOODS/PRODUCTS/SERVICES COVERED BY THE AGREEMENT AND DELIVERY:
The services covered by this agreement are the sale of electronic tickets via a website dedicated to passenger transport by ship and the provision of passenger transport services to the purchaser in whose name the electronic ticket is issued. The ticket consists of the seller's name, title, full address, telephone number, internet access information, MERSIS number, the basic characteristics of the service subject to the contract, the sale price, the payment method, the boarding location, the destination, the travel date, the departure time, and the information available on the seller's website at the time the order is finalised. The ticket is also sent to the buyer's email address. The buyer is deemed to have RECEIVED the ticket subject to the contract when they finalise the ticket order specified in this contract via the website. Upon delivery, they are deemed to have accepted and undertaken to comply with the rules in the contract and to fulfil their obligations.
ARTICLE 5- BUYER'S UNDERTAKING AND RESPONSIBILITY:
The buyer confirms electronically that they have read and understood all information regarding the basic characteristics of the passenger transport ticket subject to this contract, passenger and vehicle transport rules, sales price, payment method, and delivery. Upon purchasing the ticket, the Buyer shall be deemed to have read this contract and the rules for passenger and vehicle transportation, and to have accepted and undertaken to comply with all the rules contained in the contract and to fulfil all obligations.
The Buyer acknowledges and undertakes that, in the event of failure to comply with the rules specified in this contract and failure to perform their obligations in accordance with the rules specified in the contract, the Seller may immediately terminate this contract without any notice, with all rights reserved.
All damages arising from the Buyer's failure to comply with this contract shall be borne by the Buyer.
Tickets purchased under this agreement are for the personal use of the person named on the ticket only. The buyer accepts and undertakes that the information entered on the website is accurate and that the ticket is purchased for use by the person named on the ticket. If it is determined that the person named on the ticket and the person wishing to receive the service are different, the buyer accepts and undertakes that the seller shall have no liability arising from this agreement and may terminate this agreement immediately without any notice.
ARTICLE 6 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Pursuant to the applicable legislation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services, as these are expressly excluded under the section titled “Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal and the Obligations of the Parties” of the Regulation. Therefore, the BUYER shall not be entitled to exercise any right of withdrawal in relation to such services.
ARTICLE 7 – RESERVATION, TICKET AND TRANSPORTATION RULES:
1 – Tickets are personal and non-transferable.
2 – Once purchased, tickets cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded.
3 – The passenger must present the credit card used for purchase to the authorities during check-in (when collecting the boarding pass at the port).
4 – Open-dated tickets are valid for the year in which they are issued.
5 – Passengers on voyages to Greek islands agree to comply with the captain's instructions regarding changes to the berthing docks and the ship's internal regulations.
6 – Passengers must be at the port at least 60 minutes before the ship's departure time, and passengers with vehicles must be at the port at least 90 minutes before departure. (Check-in procedures end 30 minutes before departure.)
7 – Vehicle passengers must bring a notarised power of attorney if their vehicle is registered in someone else's name. If the vehicle is registered in the company's name, they must bring a signature circular or power of attorney proving that they are authorised to sign. The power of attorney or signature circular must be translated into English.
8 – Passengers with vehicles must obtain international ‘Green Insurance’ (insurance valid in Greece and Turkey) for their vehicles.
9 – The Seller and Ferry Company are not liable for any material damage that may occur during the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers with vehicles. The ship's field officer or ship's personnel may provide passengers with a free guidance service when vehicles board and disembark the ship, but the Seller and Ferry Company are not responsible for any damage that may occur here. The passenger accepts and undertakes that the handbrakes of all vehicles left on the vehicle deck are applied, the vehicles are secured, and precautions are taken against bad weather conditions. Passengers who do not request additional precautions or securing of their vehicles accept in advance that they cannot hold the Seller and the Ferry Company liable for any damage that may occur. The securing of motorcycle-type vehicles is the responsibility of the passenger, and the passenger is liable for all damage to vehicles left on deck without a request for securing/fastening.
10 – The service contract shall be terminated in the event that the passenger is prevented from travelling for any reason whatsoever, including legal, administrative, visa regime, vehicles they wish to take with them, pets, and the passenger's request for a refund shall not be accepted.
11 – Any disputes regarding transportation shall be resolved in the Marmaris Courts in accordance with the applicable tariff conditions and Turkish Laws and Regulations.
12 – Voyages may be suspended, altered, or extended due to adverse weather and sea conditions, or other issues beyond the seller's control. The seller shall not be liable for any expenses or inconveniences arising from such delays or cancellations beyond their control, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation, and food costs.
13 – Women who are more than six months pregnant are not permitted to travel on our vessels for their own safety.
14 – The seller shall not be liable for any damage or loss to vehicles, luggage or personal belongings resulting from injury or death, unless proven by the competent courts in Marmaris to be due to the seller's fault or negligence. The seller shall not be held liable for injury, death, loss or damage caused by terrorism, insurrection, civil war, natural disasters, adverse sea and weather conditions, or malicious acts by third parties.
15 – The carrier shall not be held liable for any passenger belongings lost on board the vessels.
16 – The ticket price covers only the transport between the port of departure and the port of arrival. The seller reserves the right to make any changes to the itinerary. Our company accepts no liability for any errors arising from typographical errors (price changes and port changes). Tickets are only valid for the route specified on them. The routes on the tickets cannot be changed under any circumstances. Unless an additional fee is charged by the seller, no other services are included.
17 – If the fare is paid in a currency other than the one in which it is advertised, the exchange rate of the Central Bank at the time of purchase of the electronic ticket will be used for calculation.
18 – No specific seat number is guaranteed on board the ship.
19 – Greece does not require visas from holders of Green and Grey Passports.
20 – Holders of regular passports must have a valid Schengen Visa for the duration of their journey.
21 – Turkish citizens with a TRNC entry stamp in their passport cannot travel to Greece with these passports.
22 – It is dangerous and prohibited for passengers to board or disembark the ship before the ramp is fully opened and the ship's personnel have given boarding or disembarkation approval and the necessary safety measures have been taken.
23 – If a passenger behaves in a manner that endangers the ship, any person or property on board, or prevents the ship's crew from performing their duties, or fails to comply with the crew's instructions, or causes reasonable objection from other passengers, the seller may take such measures as it deems necessary, including restraining the passenger, take any measures deemed necessary to prevent the continuation of such behaviour. Regardless of the reason, the ship's captain reserves the right to refuse carriage of passengers, vehicles, and cargo in accordance with international regulations. Passengers accept that they may not be accepted on board in accordance with the decision taken by the ship's personnel, and that any compensation claims by the customer in relation to refusal by the ferry company or ship's personnel shall be deemed invalid.
24 – Passengers must remain seated during departure and docking manoeuvres. Passengers must comply with warnings announced during the voyage. The seller cannot be held liable for any injury or material damage that may result from failure to comply with these rules.
25 – The ferry company shall only be liable if the passenger or luggage suffers damage due to its own fault. If the passenger is also at fault, the ferry company's liability may be reduced or waived in accordance with the provisions of the legislation. https://www.marmarisferry.com is not liable.
26 – The carrier shall not be liable for any damage to fragile or perishable items, money, jewellery, precious metals, silverware, securities or other valuable commercial documents, passports and other identity documents or their copies in the luggage.
27 – The seller shall not be liable for any illness, injury or disability, including death, of a passenger whose age, mental or physical condition creates a danger or risk to themselves, in connection with the above-mentioned circumstances or as a result of the aggravation of these circumstances.
28 – For your return trips from Rhodes, you must visit the kiosks of our Rhodes agent (Sea Dreams Travel Agency) at the Port of Rhodes to obtain your boarding passes and complete your check-in procedures. (Tel: +30 22410 76535 / +30 22410 74235)
29 – When returning from Kos, you must visit the kiosks of our Kos agency (Exas Travel Agency) at Kos Port to obtain your boarding passes and complete your check-in procedures. (Tel: +30 22420 29900)
30 – To facilitate your check-in procedures at the ports, please present your online ticket.
31 – Passengers with one-way tickets who are not permitted to enter Greece must purchase a ticket for their mandatory return journey.
32 – Passengers with one-way tickets who are not permitted to enter Turkey must purchase a new ticket for their mandatory return journey.
33 – The passenger undertakes and accepts that they have been publicly informed that they will personally pay the fine imposed by Greece if they attempt to travel without a TRNC stamp in their passport, even if they have one.
34 – The passenger undertakes and accepts that there is no element in their passport, visa, residence permit or other travel documents that would prevent them from entering Greece, such as validity period, scope, date, number of entries, length of stay or similar, and that they will personally pay any fines imposed by Greece if such an element exists, and that they have been publicly informed of this matter.
35 – For tickets with departure and return dates falling in different seasons, the season price applies to the departure date.
36 – The return date cannot be changed for closed return tickets.
37 – There is no guarantee of availability for the return date for open return tickets.
38 – The return date and time for open return tickets must be confirmed with our agencies on the Greek islands during business hours one day before the voyage.
39 – The seller reserves the right to make any changes to the voyage schedule.
RULES FOR GATE (EASY) VISA APPLİCATİONS
ARTICLE 9 – ITEMS WHICH ARE NOT ALLOWED AS LUGGAGE:
No ammunition and firearms except sport and hunting types can be carried as luggage. Arms and ammunition those for sport events, can be carried as registered luggage. Firearms must be safety-locked and properly packed and delivered to the Master upon boarding the ferry. Such belongings will be returned to the passenger prior to the disembarkation. The SELLER may refuse to carry a material as baggage in accordance with its size, shape, weight and content.The SELLER may refuse the carriage of any material if such items are not properly packed in a suitcase, bag or other packing forms.Passengers have the right for free baggage within internationally accepted limits.Passengers may take the delivery of their baggage after all the baggages are unloaded from the ferry at the disembarkation port.Any material or substance like illegal drugs/narcotics cannot be carried. The full responsibility of such illegal drugs belongs to the Passengers.
